I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
